Drag the bar. Right shows more of the small original; left shows more of the upscale.

Blurry hero image? Fix it, with the price shown first.

  • Finds undersized images, featured heroes included, and checks the live page actually shows them.
  • Warns before any enlargement past 3×, where quality starts to slip.
  • Shows the credit cost and waits for your OK. Cancel spends nothing.
  • Updates every post that shows the image, so the page gets what you paid for.

How it finds the blurry ones.

Shown bigger than it is

ImgCrisp reads your published posts and pages, and their featured images, and finds images displayed wider than their pixels can fill on a sharp, high-resolution screen.

Free fixes first

Often WordPress already made a bigger copy when the image was uploaded, and the page just points at a small one. ImgCrisp switches those to the bigger copy for free, with an undo for each.

Only what’s left costs anything

An image goes on the upscale list only when no bigger copy exists. Used as a hero and in a post? It’s listed, and charged, once.

Four checks before you pay.

The price before anything happens

A dialog shows how many images and what they cost. Cancel spends nothing, and the plugin won’t start an upscale without that OK.

A warning past 3×

Enlarging an image more than three times its real pixels can visibly degrade it. The dialog lists those images, worst first, and offers to upscale only the safe ones.

A check of the live page

Some themes never show a post’s content. ImgCrisp checks each page’s public version and leaves images it can’t find there unticked, so you don’t pay to sharpen an image nobody sees.

No silent retries

If an upscale stops without a confirmed result, it may already have been paid for. ImgCrisp never retries those by itself: they wait for you under Needs review, with the reason.

What you get, and what it costs.

A sharper original, optimized

The upscaled image replaces the original in the same format, up to 4,096 pixels on its longest side, and gets WebP and AVIF versions of every size like any other image.

Every post updated

Every published post that shows the image is switched to the new file, so the page shows what you paid for. The upscale screen says how many posts were updated, and why any were skipped.

210 credits an image

That includes optimizing the result. A 6,000-credit Starter pack covers 28 upscales. See pricing.

Restorable

The original is backed up first, and you can restore it from the report. Posts switched to the upscaled file need a quick edit afterwards. Using AI upscale.
