Reading the report

Go to ImgCrisp, then Optimization Report. Every image ImgCrisp has handled has a row here, including the ones that failed or were skipped.

You can also reach an image’s row from the Media Library: the list view has an ImgCrisp column that links straight to it.

The summary

Across the top: the total saved across all images, then counts of Optimized, Failed, Skipped and Pending images. The Optimized count notes how many of those were already optimal.

Statuses

Status What it means
Done Optimized. Smaller files were written and WebP or AVIF versions made.
Already optimal The original couldn’t be made smaller, so it was kept unchanged. WebP and AVIF versions were still made.
Upscaled Enlarged with AI upscale, then optimized.
Awaiting result An AI upscale was sent and paid for, and its result hasn’t arrived yet.
Pending Waiting in the queue, or restored and waiting for you to optimize it again.
Restored Put back to its backed-up original.
Failed Something went wrong. ImgCrisp tries an image three times before leaving it here, and the Verify check can also mark an image Failed. The row says why.
Skipped ImgCrisp couldn’t process this file, for example a GIF, a file over 50 MB, a missing file, or a missing or wrong API key. The row says which.

Filtering, sorting and searching

Filter by any status above, search by file name, and sort by Recently updated, Most bytes saved, Biggest % saved or Largest original.

One image in detail

Click a row to open its details: the original and optimized sizes, the formats made, every file on disk, whether the original is backed up and where, how many attempts it took, and for a failed image, why it failed.

From here you can Restore original or Re-optimize. Re-optimize sends the image again with your current settings, which is also how you retry a skipped image after fixing its cause.

Exporting

Press Export CSV to download the report as a spreadsheet. It follows your current filter and sort, and includes every matching row, not just the page you’re looking at. The columns are:

attachment_id, file, status, display_status, up_source_width, up_output_width, credits_spent, topaz_credits, original_bytes, optimized_bytes, saved_bytes, pct_saved, formats, error, updated_at.

Checking the files on disk

On Bulk Optimize, Verify re-reads every optimized image from disk. It checks that the file is there, that it isn’t larger than the original or the Max dimension setting, and that a WebP and AVIF version exists for each format you have switched on. Images that fail the check are marked Failed, with the reason. No files are changed.
